Munich muse necklace

This necklace, in 18K gold, has a trilliant pink Tourmaline feature and many Aqua-marine crystal beads. The Tumi form has been converted into a triangular shape with a highly textured surface. The necklace was purchased by a Russian client.

Item details:

• The Tumi form is made in 18K yellow gold .
• Stone: Trilliant cut stone, a pink Tourmaline set in a gold mount.
• Beads: Aqua-marine crystals, cut into sections but with their natural facets retained.
• Clasp: Alan's signature fitting in 18K gold.

This necklace was constucted using pierced layers of thin gold sheet similar in construction and feel to my Coiled Rings.

Item details:

• Tumi form in thin 18K yellow gold sheets with textured surface and planished edges.
• Rivets in rose gold.
• Collar: Twisted gold wire wrapped around a central core.
• Stones: Round brilliant cut diamonds, assorted sizes.
• Chain runner: The top tube device is a formed sheet of gold with rings inside to centralise the gold collar, which runs through it.
• Clasp: Alan's signature fitting in 18K gold, modified to accommodate the gold wire twisted collar.

• The beads and carved motif are antique coral. On an environmental note, I feel it is not responsible to harvest new coral to use as a material for jewellery, therefore I never use it. However, in this case I made an exception, as the coral was recycled and reused from a heritage collection left to Sarah.

A large silver Tumi form in textured silver with a Lapis stone.

This was a purchase by a customer who loves Lapis-lazuli.

Item details:

• Tumi form in Silver with light texturing and planishing on the outer edges.
• Stone: Lapis Lasuli, cut into into a half lozenge form.
• Chain: A medium Foxtail chain with a silver clasp.
• Chain runner: This is a scroll feature that I recently developed as a decorative element as well as a funtional device.

This was an earlier version of the Munich muse series, using the chain runner and chain to follow the contour of the marquise shaped stone.

• Chain: A rope chain in silver with a silver clasp.
• An unusual chain runner: The gap between the top ovoid form and the crosspiece effectively traps the chain but allows it to run through the space.
• The swish shape in silver forms a counter-balancing element, together with the small Ruby set in gold.
• Stone: Lozenge shaped Jade cabochon set in gold.
• Silver tongue shaped form with textured surface contrasting with the smooth finished forms.
